all screwed up - fairytale of laguardia - merry elf-ing christmas

musical notes - taste on my tongue - the rainbow clause

wrapped with love

“You totally destroyed the toilet and probably the bathroom, so good job,” David said. “I don’t know what you were thinking, but stop doing it, because you’re making my job harder.”

Griffin glared at him. Without his mask on, and without poop water running down his face, he looked young. Cute, David’s brain supplied, before he cut that thought off.

“I wasn’t thinking about you, I was thinking about me,” Griffin said.

“Well, stop doing that too,” David retorted.

Griffin Caldwell can’t wait to make a fresh start: new job, new town, new house. He’s even realized the lifelong dream of owning his own home. Except when he arrives, nothing is what he expected, and Griffin’s celebration turns from triumphant to terrible.

Not only is his “cute bungalow” a derelict heap, it needs major remodeling work to be livable. And it turns out there’s only one person in town who’s even willing to commit to the project.

The first time David Webber talks to Griffin about his disaster zone of a house, he’d like nothing better than to hang up the phone. But he’s stuck. All his grumpy behavior has gotten him is a whole stack of bad reviews online and no clients.

From the moment they collide over a busted toilet, sparks and snark fly. The only thing that might be hotter than their mutual animosity is their intense chemistry.

Neither of them wants to admit it at first but as the project evolves and their lives intertwine, maybe what they’re working on isn’t just a house. It might even be proof that a caring partnership can build a strong, long-lasting foundation--and an even fiercer love.

Owen wasn’t one for all that New Age shit. He didn’t get his aura read or his chakras balanced. But right now...right now he knew. If they kissed, his world would change.

Kiss him, a voice in his head urged, sounding oddly enough like the bartender. Don’t fuck this up, Lindsay. The hair on his arms stood up.

Before he could move, the loudspeaker behind them went off, startling both of them.

Once upon a time, a hockey player and a baseball player walked into a bar...

It wasn’t coincidence that brought Red to New York. It wasn’t coincidence that got him stuck there overnight either.

After taking a unscheduled detour on the way to his grandmother’s house, hockey player Red O'Reilly finds himself snowed in at the airport. What could have been a bleak Christmas Eve suddenly turns magical when Owen “the Wolf” Lindsay, a wicked pitcher with an irresistible charm who Red's been crushing on for years sits down next to him in the last open seat in the bar.

If Owen had left New York when he was supposed to, he wouldn't be trapped in the worst airport in the world. He also wouldn't have met the sexy, irrepressible young Red and that would have been a tragedy. Could it just be coincidence that they are both in the same place at the same time?

No, this has to be something much stronger than coincidence; they just might have a bonafide Christmas miracle on their hands.

Aidan was supposed to be in Ireland.

He was supposed to be counting golden coins, buffing cauldrons and helping his boss, the Vice President of Leprechaun Operations, triangulate where the end of the next rainbow would land.

Instead, he was in Santa’s sleigh.

Currently freezing his balls off.

Aidan might be a bad elf, but he’s never been naughty.

Aidan has always landed on Santa’s nice list, thank you very much. But that doesn’t mean he’s cut out to be a North Pole elf; instead of worrying about the dwindling magic of Christmas, he’d much rather be back in Tir na Nog, calculating where the next end of the rainbow is going to land.

Instead he’s freezing his butt off in Santa’s sleigh.

His situation seems grim despite all the decking the halls, until on Christmas Eve, during a milk and cookies run, he meets Dexter, an engineering student.

They couldn’t be more different, and Dexter couldn’t be more forbidden, but Aidan is drawn to the handsome human anyway. Over the next year, their emails start out as a entertaining way to pass the time in all his interminable elf meetings, but soon, hearing from Dex becomes the very best part of his day.

And when they meet up on the next Christmas Eve? Aidan and Dex discover that their infatuation is so much more than just attraction. If they believe in each other and in the love they share, together their magic might be powerful enough to save Christmas.

Carter looked up into new guy’s deep blue eyes, framed with a fringe of unfairly lush sandy brown lashes, and everything he was about to say—namely, “why don’t you watch where the hell you’re walking!”—died in his throat.

This was another reason why he wasn’t dating some cute guy he’d met at Starbucks or at the frozen custard place down the street from his condo. Anytime he was even the slightest bit attracted to a man, his brain took an immediate hiatus and every available word dried up.

“Uh,” Carter said helpfully.

For the last six months, shy, nerdy, English teacher Carter Bennett has been crushing on the brand new PE teacher.

It doesn’t matter how many months in the school year there are, Carter knows that cool, laid-back, college baseball star Nolan returning his feelings is hopeless.

Until they’re both called in front of the Principal and given an impossible task: take over the spring musical from the MIA choir director.

Carter knows all about literature and plays, but had to give up his college theater major because his shyness was too crippling. Nolan knows even less. But despite lapses in choreography, terrible acting, a complete lack of sets, and costumes from the eighteenth century, they’re going to have to hit all the right notes, together.

Quentin is a perfect gentleman — it’s been so long since Landon was on a real date, he’s almost forgotten what that means. He pulls Landon’s chair out for him, and he’s this ridiculous, flawless combination of proper and seductive, letting just the tips of his fingers brush the small of his back as he makes sure the chair is at the right distance from the table.

It’s the wildest, sexiest thing Landon has ever experienced, and they still haven’t gotten to the food.

Almost pop-star Landon Patton has just turned a corner on the worst two years of his life: dropped by his label and dumped by his ungrateful ex-boyfriend. However, his new agent's brilliant plan for Landon's superstardom doesn’t have anything to do with his music – it’s called Kitchen Wars, and it’s the hottest new reality show on TV.

Landon wishes he could have nothing to do with it.

Since the first morning he mixed flour and water, Quentin Maxwell knew he wanted to be a baker. After becoming the pastry chef at a popular LA bakery, anyone else might be satisfied. But Quen wants to call his own shots. Going on Kitchen Wars to win the money for his own bakery seems like a huge risk, but maybe it's worth it.

They’re an unlikely pair. Landon can’t even figure out how to turn an oven on, while Quentin makes his living with one. But with each passing week on Kitchen Wars, they discover what a great team they make – on set, off set, and between the sheets.

Winning should be everything, but what happens when the tastiest pairing is their own?

“Not just a pretty cover model, then.”

“I’m going to personally burn your Sports Illustrated,” Colin said without heat. They were definitely flirting; the question was why. Did Nick just do this? Or did it actually mean something? And what about when they were living in the same house? Flirt until Colin wanted to bang his head against the wall?

“That,” Nick said, “implies that I only have one copy.”

No, they were going to flirt until Colin wanted to bang Nick against a wall.

Don't like the athletes. Don't sleep with the athletes. Don't fall for the athletes. It had never been particularly difficult to keep the rules but Nick had a feeling he was about to be tested.

Heisman winner. Member of the National Championship team. NFL Rookie of the Year. Quarterback Colin O’Connor knows he’s become the ultimate romance novel cliché: all the success he’s ever dreamed of but nobody to share it with. Too bad it’s not as simple as asking out the next girl who intrigues him – because the next girl to intrigue him probably won’t be a girl at all.

Unexpectedly, the solution comes in one neat package: Nick Wheeler, lead journalist for a leading sports and pop culture blog. Hired by Colin’s team, Nick comes to Miami to shine a spotlight on the NFL’s most private quarterback.

The heat in Miami rises when Nick discovers that Colin is nothing like the hollow personality he pretends to be in interviews and he’s even hotter in person than on his Sports Illustrated cover. Nick knows this is the story of his career, and it also hits close to home. What he needs is to help Colin share his story while keeping their growing relationship from boiling over in the press, but what he wants is to tell the world.

Reed might be out of practice at dating, but he could still sense an ambush. Jordan had called for a reservation near the end of the dinner service. He’d picked a table in a section that would empty out first. And he’d taken his time eating.

Which all meant that they were essentially alone, if you didn’t count all of Reed’s employees, who were no doubt hovering as close as they could, desperate to hear something juicy.

Reed decided he didn’t care.

NFL player Jordan Christensen walks into Reed Ryan’s restaurant without a reservation. It isn’t the most serendipitous of meet-cutes and they certainly aren’t the likeliest of romances, but over venison steaks and crème brûlée, they fall in love anyway.

Flash forward two years . . .

Jordan isn’t a football player anymore.

Reed sold his restaurant.

But even more drastically, they’ve lost each other.

When Reed moves to Los Angeles take a new job, he doesn’t realize Jordan now works at the same company. But Jordan definitely realizes how precious the second chance fate has bestowed on them is. He’s determined to make up for everything that fell apart the first time around, and it turns out he’s not the only one scheming to right old wrongs.

Starting a new career is always difficult but sharing office space—and big projects—with an old lover is particularly rough. Between impromptu Secret Santa exchanges, Christmas light viewings, and more tacos than even Reed can eat, the two former lovers have an eventful holiday season to navigate.
